The preliminary overnight numbers have been revealed for WWE SmackDown and the show appears to be gaining big once again.
According to a new report from SpoilerTV, this week’s episode of the show drew an average of 2.385 million overnight.
This number is up from the 2.086 million viewers that the show managed to get last week, which was considered a fairly low number considering recent trends.
The show this week also saw a rise in the 18-49 demographic, gaining a rating of 0.55 compared to last week’s 0.50.

SpoilerTV also confirmed that the show managed to get 2.338 million viewers for the first hour, whilst the second hour drew 2.431 million viewers overall.
It all now depends on if the company can keep this momentum going, but it is promising and way up from the WWE RAW numbers earlier this week.
RAW was up against two NFL games, so the drop to 1.5 million viewers for that show was expected, but for SmackDown to pull off nearly a million more eyeballs on Friday night is impressive.
