News broke out yesterday that Cesaro has left WWE after his contract expired and the two parties couldn’t reach a new agreement. While there is no word yet on what the Swiss Superman is planning for his future, AEW stars have already started calling out the former champion.

Eddie Kingston, who had an extensive history with the fellow former Chikara star, made a tweet saying that he “doesn’t have the balls” to join AEW. The Wild Card later confirmed in another tweet that he was talking about Cesaro while responding to a video highlighting his past feud with the former WWE star:

Cesaro ended his 10+ year-long stint with WWE when he decided to leave the company. He joined the promotion in September 2011 and was called up to the main roster only months later in April 2012. The former WWE star won over half a dozen titles during his time with the company. This included 7 tag team championship reigns.

There is no word yet on what the 41-year-old is planning to do next. AEW has signed people like Keith Lee and Buddy Matthews recently. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Tony Khan signs the wrestling veteran as well.
