Cody Rhodes made his return from injury at Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on Saturday.
Cody Rhodes entered the Royal Rumble match in the number 30 spot. He put on an impressive showing and lasted 15 minutes before he eliminated Intercontinental Champion Gunther to win the match.
This win puts Cody directly in the path of Roman Reigns as he is headed to the main event of WrestleMania. However, it looks like Cody might have some major plans after he defeats Reigns.
Cody Rhodes could bring back old WWE title design
The American Nightmare posted a photo of the old winged eagle WWE Championship belt on his Instagram indicating that he is considering bringing the title back again.
It is to be noted that back in the day, it was Cody who brought back the classic white Intercontinental Championship from the 1980s. This time around he could do the same with the WWE Championship belt.
