Gable Steveson returns to training

According to ESPN’s Mike Coppinger’s reports, Gable had Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome. Gable told ESPN that he found out about the issue during his visit to Tokyo last year for the Olympics. Steveson held off on the procedure to get a second take about things from WWE’s acclaimed doctors. The medical staff didn’t advise otherwise, and it was after Hunter and Team’s confirmation that Steveson went for the procedure.

“We’re glad to see that Gable is healthy and training full-time at our Performance Center in Orlando.”

WWE’s creative head also said this in response to the messages that he received about Gable Steveson’s health. WPW syndrome causes a rapid heartbeat. According to Jon Hopkins Medicine, an ablation ‘uses small burns or freezes to cause some scarring on the inside of the heart.’

Steveson recently inked a multi-year contract with WWE in 2021. Steveson’s brother Bobby wrestles as Damon Kemp on NXT. The company hopes that he will be a bigger or equivalent name in the WWE to Brock Lesnar. We will see how things pan out for him.
