Nikki Bella saw one of the devastating moments in her life when she had a heartbreaking split with WWE star John Cena. Nikki was in a relationship with Cena from 2012 until their highly publicized breakup in 2018. This was after Cena proposed to Bella during WrestleMania 33 back in 2017. Though it is all in the past, such a disheartening incident can still haunt anybody.

While speaking with ET, the former Divas Champion, Nikki talked about her break up with Cena. Bella stated that the breakup was traumatizing.
‘I think a lot of women get into this situation when it’s like, ’˜I love this person, but I don’t know if it’s right for my life,’ and that’s a hard thing. Sometimes we meet amazing people, but we’re just meant to live a different life. (’¦) I just got this feeling so deep in my gut of, like, ’˜I need to walk away.’ And no one thought I would, but it was hitting me so hard. Even though it’s painful and even traumatizing, I just knew it was right.’
Nikki Bella is currently engaged to Artem Chigvintsev and will marry by the end of this year. Meanwhile, after a couple of years passed of the court marriage, Cena ceremoniously married Shay Shariatzadeh.
