The former WWE star Paige had her in-ring career cut short due to neck injury. She recently departed WWE after her contract expired. The former WWE Divas Champion recently talked about possibly making an in-ring return and revealed whom she wants to face.
Paige talks about a potential opponent
While speaking to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, Paige, now going by her real name of Saraya, stated that when it comes to wrestling again, it would be for a very big moment. It was during a match against Sasha Banks that she had suffered the injury that cost her career. She has expressed her desire to face her should she make her return.
She said:
‘I feel fantastic, I really do feel fantastic. I still have the mental block of, ’˜Oh my God, if I was to get in the ring, what if?’ If I was to have to be in the ring, it would be for a really big moment to wrestle. I’ll do promos here and there, for big companies, but to actually wrestle, it would have to be a really big moment. I would love to face Sasha again, for real. It ended the way it did.’
‘I would love to face Sasha [Banks] again ’¦ I feel like [Triple H] is going to get her. I feel like now that Hunter took over, everyone’s going to be like, ’˜I’m ready to come home.’’
We will have to see if she makes her comeback to the squared circle.
