This week’s episode of WWE SmackDown was pre-taped, but the overnight ratings have now been released and the show did pretty well.
Shows that are pre-taped usually suffer somewhat in viewership due to spoilers, something that both WWE and AEW have suffered from in the past.
This week’s episode of the show was the go-home edition of the blue brand ahead of the WWE Clash at the Castle event from Cardiff, Wales.

The overnights for this week’s episode saw an average over the two hours of 1.973 Million. The 18-49 demographic drew 0.4 and the breakdown was as follows:
- Hour 1 – 1.952
- Hour 2 – 1.995
As noted, this was a taped show and the spoilers have been available for a week, so it’s a pretty decent number to get on FOX ahead of the Cardiff show.
The company will be hoping to continue this run of having good viewership for both RAW and SD ever since Triple H took over creative on the main roster.
