WWE RAW Ratings this week get big bump

Last updated

This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw a decent bump in the ratings, with the shocking return of former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano.

As confirmed by Wrestlenomics, this week’s episode of the show brought in a viewership of 2,005,000 and garnered a .55 in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The show is now back over 2 million, with the August 15th episode of the show bringing in an overnight average of 1.978 million viewers, with a .53 in the 18 to 49 demographic.

Obviously, the shock return of Gargano may have helped get some extra eyeballs ahead of the main event, but the big match between Edge vs Damian Priest is likely the biggest driver of viewership this week.

The Triple H era of WWE is well underway and clearly, it is working for fans. The downturn in the audience towards the tail end of Vince McMahon’s stewardship was stark, and now the company appears to have established a new level.

Hopefully, we can see this continue as the WWE Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event takes place in just a couple of weeks.
