WWE SmackDown Superstar Max Dupri is reportedly set to undergo a major change in the next few weeks, according to a new rumour.
According to Xero News, Dupri is set to revert back to his NXT gimmick as LA Knight and have a strong run on the main roster.
“We have been told there is currently a working plan for Maximum Male Models to kick out Max over the coming Weeks/Months” the site revealed.
“This will then lead to LA Knight returning and being drafted to RAW, in which he is due to have a storyline with Kevin Owens similar to the Elias/Ezekiel one” Xero continued.
“This idea was a HHH Idea and has only been brought in due to Vince now leaving the company. We have no further news on what the plans are when this will happen with Max’s presentation” the site concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate.
We certainly hope that LA Knight will make a return to WWE programming, but this rumour might be a bit too premature.
Knight however is 39, so he doesn’t have a massive amount of time to make an imprint on the WWE main roster, so a change now where he gets the microphone in his LA Knight gimmick might propel him to the main event.
