A new rumor is making the rounds online regarding the potential WWE comeback of former WWE Champion Big E.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, The New Day member is “getting close” to a return to the ring.
“Source states Big E is getting closer to an in-ring return, There were early talks of having Big E and Randy Orton return in the Royal Rumble match if they don’t get brought back sooner” the site claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
A return for The New Day member would be fantastic, as his horrific injury appeared to finish his career completely.
We’ll have to wait and see what will happen with regards to an actual return, but the former WWE Champion appearing during the Royal Rumble early next year would certainly be a great moment for him and the fans.
