WWE Superstar Butch is rumoured to be undergoing a major change to his on-screen character and gimmick in the coming weeks.
According to a recent report/rumour from Xero News, Butch is set to revert back to being Pete Dunne on WWE programming.
“In regards to the Pete Dunne (Butch) news, there is a plan to do a Pete vs Shaemus match at a PPV after Clash. However atm this is not confirmed just a pitch. Once confirmed will update” the site claimed.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Seeing Pete Dunne return would certainly be welcomed by me. Dunne was one of the most impressive performers on the British independent scene as PROGRESS Champion, and he deserves a shot as himself on the main roster.
Hopefully, we’ll see this rumour hold true and the Englishman will be able to wreak havoc on the SmackDown roster!
