A big return has been rumoured as part of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Tournament, following recent changes to the teams taking place.
There have been two teams removed from the tournament already, and according to a recent rumour from Xero News, it’s looking like there could be another one added.
“For everyone asking, it seems if the women’s tag title thing is legit, its storyline. And the belief is it will be what was reported by myself on 6th august as a potential team” the site began.
“However this is unconfirmed and I am awaiting sources for any confirmation” the Twitter account for Xero News concluded.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Tournament Rumours
To clarify, the team that Xero News is referring to would be a returning Candice LeRae alongside a main roster call up for Indi Hartwell.
Both women were of course part of The Way stable in NXT, and Johnny Gargano made his return to the company last night during WWE RAW.
Could I still see this happening with all of the changes already? Not really, but I would love to see Candice get a shot on the main roster.
