An NXT gimmick match has been rumored for the upcoming WWE Survivor Series event, with Triple H looking to spice up the card.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, The Game is looking at bringing the Fight Pit from NXT to the main roster.
“Big plans and pitches being made for Survivor Series. One very interesting match type could make a return if they go ahead with it” the site claimed on Twitter.
“The Pitch being made, and this is nowhere confirmed yet, is the return of the Fight Pit” the site concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Considering that Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins appear to still have a feud ongoing, then it would make sense for them to compete inside the Fight Pit.
The concept was brought to NXT during the behind-closed-doors era of the show, and Riddle is a former UFC fighter, so he was tailor-made for the gimmick.
