A number of WWE Superstars are set to be getting repackaged soon, but a change for Gunther has now been proven to be fake.
A fan posted an image on Twitter of the WWE Superstar going back to his old NXT and independent name of WALTER.
The image looked like it was from the official WWE website, but we can confirm that this is in fact a fake and not what WWE has planned.
Gunther Gimmick Change?
Rumours have indicated recently that a number of WWE Superstars will be getting repackaged and changed, but the former PROGRESS World Champion is not one of the names set for a tweak.
According to a new report/rumour from Xero News, a ton of repackages are set to happen in the new future for main roster stars.
‘Theory now has full name back. The first of the name and repackages to be done. Many more to come’ the site claimed on Twitter.
We are going to have to wait on what happens here in terms of other talents, but Gunther appears to be staying as is for now.
