WWE great and sure-fire Hall of Famer John Cena has been rumoured to be taking part in a huge match in 2023.
According to a report/rumour from Xero News, it’s looking like we will see the former WWE Champion coming back for WrestleMania 39.
“2023 Road to Wrestlemania will be fire as some say and hey also may involve just a bit of Hustle Loyalty and Respect from early on that road” the site claimed on Twitter.
John Cena at WrestleMania 39
It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Having Cena at any ‘Mania show certainly makes sense, as he is the biggest star of the last decade-plus at least.
From what is being gathered so far, it’s looking like we’ll be seeing The Rock, Roman Reigns and John Cena on this WrestleMania 39 card, so it’s already looking stacked!
We’ll have to wait and see how this one plays out. At this time, we’re not even really sure who Cena would be facing at the show. Theory would certainly be a good bet, but what position will be in come April 2023?
UPDATE 8th November 2022 – More sources are now confirming that Cena will be making his way to WrestleMania next year, with a match against Austin Theory the likely destination.
