Former WWE Superstar Mickie James may well be making her return to the company, at least according to a recent rumor.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, James could be making her return to the company alongside her husband Nick Aldis.
“In relation to Nick Aldis, if Nick comes into WWE Mickie will follow” the site claimed on their Twitter account this week.
“[I’m] told after some time she may transition more into a backstage role” the site concluded.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Of course, the last time we saw James in a WWE ring was as part of the Royal Rumble back in January, which was a massive moment as she was the IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion at the time.
Mickie is currently in the last run of her career on the IMPACT roster, saying that she will retire the next time she loses a match.
James vs Gisele Shaw is set to take place at IMPACT Victory Road on Friday, September 23rd 2022 and will be available to watch on FITE TV.
