Name changes rumoured for WWE Superstars

Last updated

A number of WWE Superstars may be getting name changes in the near future, at least that is the case according to a recent rumour.

According to a new report/rumour from Xero News, a ton of repackages are set to happen in the new future for main roster stars.

“Theory now has full name back. The first of the name and repackages to be done. Many more to come” the site claimed on Twitter.

WWE Superstar Name Change

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

I like the idea of making changes to some of these performers who had their names originally changed for daft reasons.

Changing Theory back to Austin Theory makes sense, as having someone just called ‘Theory’ to me has just never, ever worked on television.

There have been repackages and name changes under the Vince McMahon era that have actually worked, because WALTER was a terrible name and Gunther in fairness (ignoring the weird connotations) is far, far better in the grand scheme of things.

I don’t have any news on who some of these stars are right now apart from T-Bar, someone else that Xero claimed would be changing soon. T-Bar has actually now following Xero on social media and is indicating that he is soon getting a change from his failed RETRIBUTION gimmick.
