This week’s episode of WWE RAW went off with some pretty interesting surprises, but there were apparently even more waiting backstage.
According to a recent report/rumour from Xero News, the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Naomi were backstage at the show.
“Sasha and Naomi are backstage as per earlier report. Still no word on if Hunter will do tonight or [at] Clash. Also advised there are several NXT stars backstage but again not sure what for and if will appear” the account claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Xero had been claiming throughout the day yesterday that the duo were backstage and it all depended on ‘timing’ as to whether they would be appearing.
Clearly, the former Women’s Tag Team Champions were not on the show, so it’s looking like Clash at the Castle might be the destination for the return.
Having said that, WWE is apparently looking at some other returns that night, including the potential of Bray Wyatt, so they might hold off on Sasha Banks and Naomi returning.
