WWE Superstar Sonya Deville is reportedly extremely close to making a return to in-ring action for the company on SmackDown.
Deville has not wrestled for almost a year, following a loser leaves WWE match against Mandy Rose. In reality, Sonya Deville was dealing with an ongoing stalker case, where she was targeted by a ‘fan.’
Fightful Select have said that “Sonya Deville is expected to return to the ring soon, and the return to the ring could be imminently as long as all things go according to plan.”
When will Sonya Deville wrestle in WWE again?
The site also noted that Deville has been training for an in-ring return recently, and that hasn’t been hidden from the other talent and is ‘public knowledge.’
“Those that we’ve spoken to within WWE have had glowing reviews of Deville, the handling of the last year, and the way she’s worked her role”

WWE creative have reportedly been told to factor in Deville into storylines for the coming months, as the company are hoping that she will be able to return to the ring.
Despite this, Deville has said that she is very happy with her current role alongside Adam Pearce in recent interviews.
It has also believed that several names backstage in WWE have been pushing to get Sonya Deville involved in the Women’s Money In The Bank match. At one point Deville was pencilled in to appear in the match, but as of now she is not being factored into plans.
