WWE reportedly want a ‘problematic’ wrestler to sign with the company, according to a new rumor discussed in our XERO HOUR podcast.
Our brand new XERO HOUR podcast looks at some of the big rumors in the week from Xero News, a site/account that has got some big leaks recently.
Whilst not everything you hear online and from leaks and rumors can be trusted, Xero News claimed on the show that the company want to bring Tessa Blanchard into the fold.
WWE wants problematic and cancelled wrestler
Xero News also claimed on the podcast that the company want to wait until 2023 to bring her into the fold.
The reasoning for this is so that the current ‘heat’ on her subsides somewhat.
Blanchard was accused of using racist language and bullying other talent a few years ago, and since she has been essentially persona non grata in the wrestling industry.
The former IMPACT Wrestling Champion did sign with WOW, but she was quietly released from the company shortly before they even began taping.
We’ll have to wait and see whether the company does bring her in, but in terms of actual in-ring ability and name value as a Blanchard, it is somewhat understandable on their end.
