Triple H rumoured to ‘challenge’ AEW on Sunday night

WWE Head of Creative Triple H is reportedly expected to be ‘challenging’ AEW on Sunday night with a huge NXT Worlds Collide event.

According to a new report/rumour from Xero News, ‘The Game’ wants to go ‘all out’ (pun intended) on the NXT UK vs NXT 2.0 event.

“The NXT PPV on the same day as All Out (4th Sept) will run for 3/4 hours to counter as much of All Out as possible. Hearing as well HHH gonna put out all the stops to have it so everyone’s talking about NXT” the site claimed on Twitter.

Triple H NXT vs AEW

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

With the prior AEW vs NXT ‘Wednesday Night War’ that finished a few months ago, it would not surprise me if HHH still has some resentment at how that went down.

All Elite Wrestling essentially ‘beat’ NXT in the ‘war,’ and it lead to Vince McMahon making some huge changes to how NXT is run.

With Hunter now back in charge of creative across the company, he is clearly wanting to ensure that they’re the top dogs from the ground up.
