WWE is rumoured to be in talks with a massively controversial former Superstar about bringing him back to the company.
Xero News recently posted a teaser with a GIF of Velveteen Dream, indicating that he may well be making his way back to the company.
I followed this up with Xero to see exactly what they had heard with regards to the former NXT Champion genuinely being considered as a potential returning name.
Xero confirmed by saying “They want him [and] he’s been backstage. But [he’s] not signed.”

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
I cannot believe that the company want to bring Dream back into the fold, especially with all of the issues surrounding his alleged behaviour backstage and on social media.
Considering that Xero has given me some very legitimate insight over the past few weeks, I tend to believe that this is genuinely on the cards.
Dream was one of Triple H’s pet projects in the black and gold era of NXT, so him getting brought back for a main roster run wouldn’t surprise me at all.
Having said that, please don’t bring him back.
