The WWE Draft is expected to be taking place shortly, at least that appears to be the case according to recent rumours online.
According to a recent report/rumour from Xero News, we now know that the Draft will be taking place in late September.
The site claimed on Twitter: “As of two weeks ago, the draft date was set for September 19th and 23rd. No word if it has changed.”
WWE Draft Day Set?
It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
It would be interesting for the company to have the WWE Draft around two months ahead of the Survivor Series 2022 event in November.
Usually, the brand versus brand warfare on that show feels stale, but this MIGHT just save it, should the company build those two months up properly.
Hopefully, the company will be able to use the Draft in a better manner this year than they have been doing over the past couple. That is if there even is really going to be a Draft taking place.
We’ll have to wait and see on this one, but the timing across Friday Night SmackDown and Monday Night RAW certainly makes sense.
