WWE SmackDown star Sheamus is eager to perform at WrestleMania 38. However, he has not been booked for the marquee event yet. He recently sent a message to WWE ahead of the ‘Shows of Shows.

Sheamus believes WWE would make a mistake if he is not booked

In a new interview with the Dallas Morning News, ‘The Celtic Warrior’ stated that it would be a “major mishap” on WWE’s behalf if they didn’t book him for WrestleMania 38. The former WWE Champion is currently teaming up with Ridge Holland on SmackDown and they are dominating the tag-team division and he believes that their recent performances should be the reason for their inclusion on WrestleMania 38 card.

The Celtic Warrior recalled the last time he competed at The Grandest Stage Of Them All in Texas and this time around he wants WWE to throw him up against any talent in the company:

“I mean, that would be funny, right? Faced the New Day the last WrestleMania we were there,” said Sheamus. “Obviously, in a different position now, in a different dynamic now. But yeah, I want to be at WrestleMania, everybody does. If I’m not on WrestleMania then that’s going to be a major mishap on WWE’s side, you know what I mean? Because I’ve been bringing it, having banger after banger matches during the pandemic and after. So, I’m on a new lease right now. But obviously want to go there, take on whoever it is ’“ whether it’s New Day, whether it’s Usos, it doesn’t really matter to us ’“ we just want to go in there and show people what we can do.’

Here is what he said:

WrestleMania 38 is just a few weeks away and there have been speculations regarding Cody Rhodes debut in WWE. That could happen at WrestleMania and who knows we might even end up witnessing ‘The American Nightmare’ going up against ‘The Celtic Warrior.’ WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
