WWE Superstar Goldberg recently reacted to his son, Gage Goldberg, making an appearance in-ring at this year’s WWE SummerSlam 2021 event from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Speaking about his son’s involvement on CarCast, the former WCW Champion would outline what it was like performing with his son.
“I didn’t see sh*t. I was choking him. He goes, ‘Dad, when you came over and grabbed me, you were choking me'” Goldberg revealed on the show.
“I was like, ‘I saw you smiling man, I had to get the smile off.’ The kid is impervious to pressure. He did four hours of homework before he went out and jumped in the ring with a 290-pound monster who was beating his dad up” Goldberg added.

“It didn’t bother him one bit. Wanda [Goldberg’s wife] was in the back. If she was anywhere near the ring, it wouldn’t have made any sense. She would have had to jump in too” the WWE Hall of Famer concluded.
Goldberg is reportedly set to take part in one more match in 2021, with his contract reportedly dictating that he perform in 2 contests per year.
Although the Superstar wrestled at Royal Rumble 2021 and SummerSlam 2021, his deal may be from certain dates and not run over the calendar year.
WWE are heading back to Saudi Arabia in October and reportedly February next year, so they may be looking at utilizing the former WCW Champion at these shows in some capacity, whether that be in a match or not.
