WWE has ushered in a new era under Triple H, who is currently the Head of Creative after Vince McMahon departed the company upon retirement. The programming has seen some changes and it turns out the content will have further changes moving forward. He is also expected to help produce more violent angles in WWE.
Triple H might start producing edgier content
WWE had been using minimal to no blood in their content during the PG era However, that is seemingly changing. As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Rhea Ripley brought out a battered Dominik Mysterio, who clearly had bruises and traces of blood on his face. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE is expected to produce more violent angles from now on.
“He [Dominik Mysterio] wasn’t leaking blood, but the idea was it was blood. There was something very much like, red on his face, which before it was something their shied away from. So, it was something. It’s not like they’ve done this on a regular basis, and maybe it’s a one-time thing, but I’m guessing they’ll get more violent as far as some of the angles go.”
We will have to wait and see what ‘The Game’ has in store for the fans.
