Wardlow sheds light on his dream feud with WWE Legend

Last updated

The AEW TNT Champion Wardlow has become a fan favorite and gets huge cheers whenever he shows up on the shows. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray had also recently spoken about the brilliant booking done by AEW. The AEW star recently talked about a dream feud with the former multi-time World Champion, Triple H.

Wardlow opens up on Triple H

Wardlow recently joined Afternoon Drive on The Fan when he was asked for his all-time dream feud. He named Triple H, who is one of the greatest stars of the business. The AEW star drew inspiration from ‘The Game’ and he grew up watching wrestling when the WWE Hall of Famer was at the peak of his career. It is unfortunate that Wardlow will not be able to have a clash with Hunter as the latter retired from in-ring competition amid health scare.

Wardlow said:

“I struggle with this because I can’t think of just one. That’s hard, that’s like asking, ‘what’s your favorite song?’ You have so many favorite songs or favorite movies,” Wardlow said.

He added:

“Growing up, the villain to all of my heroes was always Triple H. I loved The Rock, he feuded with The Rock. I loved Jeff Hardy, he feuded with Jeff Hardy. I loved Batista, he feuded with Batista. There is a part of me that always felt like I would go on to be Triple H’s next big feud, one day. I always thought that way.”

Triple H is currently in charge of creative and talent relations in WWE while Wardlow is the reigning AEW TNT Champion.
