WWE SmackDown Superstar Bayley recently spoke to the UK’s Metro, discussing a number of topics on her time inside of the WWE Thunderdome.
Bayley has been lambasting Michael Cole over the past few months for his commentary on-screen, as the ‘Role Model’ can’t hear the fans and Cole is just a few feet away from where she is working.
‘I don’t know if people realize it or they think I’m doing it just for fun ’“ which it is fun, to give Cole crap” Bayley said during the interview.

“But I can literally hear them [the commentators]! They’re 10 feet away from me in an empty arena, so I can hear everything he’s saying, so it just felt fitting to respond to it. Why not?’ Bayley continued.
Bayley also confirmed that she wants a match against the longtime WWE play-by-play commentator, with Michael Cole having a 1-0 record at WrestleMania, having beaten Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler.
It remains to be seen if WWE will take this further and make it a legitimate angle on SmackDown, although with Cole being a decade older than when he wrestled at WrestleMania 27, it’s unlikely.
Bayley is currently set to face Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Money In The Bank PPV event in July.
MITB will be the first event back with a full capacity crowd since 2020, and WWE are looking to stack the cards on the next few PPV shows as much as possible to drive fans back to the buildings.
