WWE Superstar Becky Lynch recently revealed why she felt a match against Bayley was not “big enough” for WrestleMania.

Speaking to Sean Ross Sapp, Lynch discussed the Bayley return that was not back at WrestleMania 37 back in 2021.

“There was a bit of chatter,” Becky said about Bayley potentially having a WWE return back at WrestleMania in 2021.

“There was a bit of a pitch. I know that Bayley, who worked so hard that whole year and really just went into a different level with the character, had nothing. It was sad. She deserved a big moment” Lynch added.

“So me, being the generous soul that I am, was going to give her a big moment. But it never came to fruition. I think they thought, ’˜Well, we need something bigger for Big Time Becks.’ That’s right, Bayley. Bigger” the former RAW Women’s Champion concluded.

There’s currently no word on when Bayley will be making her return to the company, but we’re hoping it will be in the next few months or so.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion has been alluding to a return in recent weeks, but it has not as of yet come to fruition.
