WWE Superstar Big E recently revealed that the horrific injury he suffered to his neck and spine could’ve actually ended his life.

Big E was dumped on his head during an overhead belly to belly suplex from Ridge Holland, fracturing his C1 bone.

Taking to social media, Big E revealed that his doctor said that he narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or even death.

“Had my first doctor’s appointment and learning (because of the C1 fracture) I narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death is very sobering. Life feels even more precious and valuable now” the former WWE Champion noted.

There’s currently no indication as to when the former WWE Champion will be making a return to the ring, but all we can say for now is just how lucky he got with the botch.

Hopefully, the former WWE Champion is able to get back to full health and return to the company in a main event capacity.

All our best to The New Day member
