Braun Strowman reportedly in talks with IMPACT Wrestling

Last updated

Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman is reportedly in talks with IMPACT Wrestling. The former Universal Champion was being linked with AEW and a potential return to WWE on a smaller contract, but now IMPACT appears to be running ahead with an offer.

Braun Strowman became a free agent officially on August 31st, and both himself and IMPACTEVP Scott D’Amore have teased a possible appearance from the former WWE Superstar.

The news was reported in this week’s issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, also mentioning that Bray Wyatt is potentially heading to All Elite Wrestling.

“Regarding newcomers, Adam Scherr, the former Braun Strowman, is in talks but has not signed but they are in talks with him. Whoever is coming in from the latest WWE cuts would be likely debuting either for or on Bound for Glory. As far as Windham Rotunda, the former Bray Wyatt, it appears it’ll be there or AEW. If it is AEW, the talk is that it would be on the 9/29 Dynamite in Rochester, NY, which is Brodie Lee’s home city. If not there or soon after, it would likely be here.”
