Former WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt/Windham Rotunda recently discussed a nixed storyline from WWE 2K22 that has surfaced online.
According to Redditor Pepsiguy2, the game had a storyline that was nixed from the MyCareer mode of the new game.
This storyline would’ve seen Wyatt being joined by Dana Brooke, who would then be known as “The Shiend.”

Some of the in-game dialogue would’ve said: “Hi fireflies! Hello there! And welcome to a very special episode of The Firefly Funhouse! As you know, I love making new friends, and I recently made a very special one! Her name was Dana Brooke. But now, she’s got a new name that’s oodles better! She’s now known as The Shiend!”
An account on Twitter posted the storyline claiming that it was going to happen in real life WWE, but Rotunda replied and confirmed that this was “Not true. That was the angle for the video game.”
Of course with Wyatt being released from the company it was likely that anything that portrayed The Fiend in a major light would’ve been scrapped, and it appears it was.
