Former WWE Superstar not returning as originally reported

Last updated

A former WWE Superstar is not set to be returning backstage as originally reported by some outlets recently following some controversy.

According to a new report from PWInsider, it appears as though Brian Kendrick is not back at WWE backstage full-time, despite some previous reports indicating that he was.

“Brian Kendrick is not currently working for WWE full-time” Mike Johnson recently confirmed on the site this week.

“We are told he is currently not a company employee but is being brought in from time to time when needed to work in a Producer capacity.  Ronda Rousey had first suggested him for the role back in November” he added.

Kendrick found himself in hot water regarding previous comments he made in the past, but despite this, he was still brought back to WWE for part-time roles producing in recent months.

As noted, Ronda Rousey was one of the names that wanted to see him return, but we’ve been unable to confirm if there any other names asking for his return backstage at this time.
