Bully Ray is not a fan of Seth Rollins’ performance on this week’s Raw.
The WWE World Heavyweight Champion has been feuding with Shinsuke Nakamura over his title recently. The storyline has been focused on a (somewhat) kayfabe back injury that Rollins has been dealing with.
The two had a match at Fastlane this past Saturday where Nakamura once again targeted Seth’s back in various ways. The former Shield member still managed to win the match somehow.
While appearing on Raw the following Monday however, Rollins did not sell the damage to his back from the match.
Bully Ray unhappy with Seth Rollins
Bully Ray talked about the segment on the latest Busted Open Radio. He explained that Seth Rollins killed the credibility of his Fastlane match with the Raw segment:
“These are the things that annoy me. You killed the credibility of the match, and the believability of the [back] injury. You killed everything Shinsuke Nakamura did to you — bumps off of ladders, going through tables, falcon arrows through tables … everything … and not even a limp? Not even a grabbing of the shoulder? C’mon! We all know the WWE and Seth Rollins are smarter than that.”
The wrestling veteran further expressed his frustration with the lack of selling in the wrestling industry. He explained that he is tired of this behaviour:
“I’m sick and tired of the lack of selling in this industry. Whether it’s selling in the ring in the moment, or selling afterwards. It is just uncalled for. This is not ‘old man screaming at the clouds’ — this is what’s right.”
