AEW’s Chris Jericho has recently voiced his concerns over what many perceive as WWE’s “pettiness” in their recent tribute to the late Bob Barker. The renowned gameshow host, who passed away on August 26, 2023, had previously made an appearance as a guest host on WWE Raw in 2009.

Among the memorable moments from that episode was a notable interaction between Barker and Chris Jericho.

Jericho’s Omission from the WWE RAW Tribute

Jericho, in honour of Barker, shared their memorable encounter on his Instagram, paying tribute to the late star.

However, when WWE aired a tribute to Bob Barker on the August 28th episode of WWE Raw, fans quickly noticed that the segment featuring Jericho was conspicuously absent.

This omission sparked a wave of reactions on social media, with fans questioning WWE’s decision to exclude what many considered to be a highlight of Barker’s appearance.

Social Media Reacts

One Twitter user expressed their disbelief, stating, “How they gonna show the Bob Barker footage and not show the best part, his confrontation with @IAmJericho? Come on! #WWERaw”.

This sentiment was echoed by another user who labelled the move as “Typical WWE pettiness”. Chris Jericho himself responded to the comments with a succinct “Yup”, further fuelling the debate.

Jericho’s Recent Endeavours

Amidst this controversy, it’s worth noting that Chris Jericho recently faced Will Ospreay at AEW’s All In event, which took place on August 27th, 2023, at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.

Ospreay emerged victorious from the bout and subsequently took to social media to share his thoughts, paying homage to AEW and expressing gratitude to his fans.
