Clash at the Castle: Major name in talks for the WWE event

Last updated

A major name in the combat sports world is reportedly in talks to make an appearance for WWE at the upcoming Clash at the Castle event.

According to a recent report from GiveMeSport, the company are trying to get Tyson Fury on the card for the event from Cardiff in September.

“GiveMeSport now has an update on the situation, as we’ve learned from sources close to Fury that the 33-year-old boxer is in talks with WWE regarding a potential return this summer” the site revealed.

“It’s important to note that we’ve been told that nothing is finalised at this stage, and there are no concrete plans to have him on any shows, but we do know that discussions have taken place” GMS concluded.

It’s likely that Fury will be appearing at the show, as he does not appear to be able to travel to the US. Fury revealed after his last boxing fight that he wants to return this summer.

After his brother Tommy Fury’s issues getting to the US for his Jake Paul fight, it’s likely that Tyson would have the same issues.

Hopefully, WWE will make an official announcement on the Gypsy King’s return after SummerSlam.
