AEW star CM Punk is currently suspended by the company amid the recent ‘Brawl Out’ altercation scandal involving The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega.
Some have wondered whether there is a chance that Punk could somehow make his way back to WWE, now that Vince McMahon is no longer in charge.
According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, Triple H has absolutely no intention of ever bringing the former WWE Champion back into the fold.
CM Punk WWE Return
Speaking on the Xero Uncut podcast, Xero News claimed that a ‘higher up’ in the company had given an answer on the question of Phil Brooks ever return.
“On the grounds of CM Punk, I had the response back of WWE and Triple H has no intention of ever bringing Punk back to the company as it stands” Xero began.
“The reason behind it is when WWE heard about the recent happenings with Punk and The Elite in AEW, WWE’s actual thoughts, and Triple H’s actual words backstage were ‘now Tony will see the real Phil.’
“So consider that one shot down once and for all. CM Punk will never return to WWE whilst there was a McMahon in charge or someone related to a McMahon in charge.
