WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes could potentially get an intriguing opponent at the upcoming Money in the Bank event according to a new rumour.
According to a new report/rumour from Boozer Wrestling, Rhodes is set to feud with Dominik Mysterio as a ‘placeholder’ feud until Brock Lesnar is back in the picture.
“The setup is for CR v DMysterio at MITB. Two paths are discussed till Brock is back later for final showdown. 1) mixed match 2) temp alliance with w/Champ to take out JD. Stay tuned” the account claimed on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that these rumours from Boozer Wrestling are just that, rumours, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.
Having Dominick vs Cody at Money in the Bank would be another chance for Dom to work in front of a hot audience in the UK and continue his development, so this seems like a great idea.
By the looks of it, Rhodes looks likely to start this feud as early as tonight on RAW, but we’ll have to wait and see whether that actually happens.
