WWE NXT 2.0 Champion Dolph Ziggler recently discussed creative in the company, explaining how talent rarely gets what they want in storylines.
Speaking to Corey Graves on the After The Bell podcast, the former World Heavyweight Champion and NXT 2.0 Champion seemed to reveal his frustration.
“It’s not even, ’˜You don’t always get to do what you want to do.’ It’s, ’˜You rarely get to do what you want to do.’ You might be a champion one day, and then the next day, you’re not on the show” Ziggler began.

“It’s like, ’˜We need to get this Roman-Brock story on. This is the part, and we need you to do this, this, and this, and you’re gonna have to sacrifice a few other pieces’” Ziggler continued.
“A lot of times, two-thirds of the roster is being sacrificed. and you go, ’˜That’s going to be you no matter whether you’re new or old'” the Showoff concluded.
It’s fair to say that Ziggler has had a very stop-start career in the company. Whilst many saw him as a potential next Shawn Michaels, the company has never truly strapped the rocket to him.
Will this change with his run as NXT Champion? Not likely, but he should have a blow-away match with Bron Breakker at NXT Stand & Deliver.
