WWE SmackDown Superstar Drew McIntyre has been out of action since defeating Madcap Moss at the WWE Day 1 PPV event.
PWInsider has now updated fans on the situation regarding the former WWE Champion, saying that he has been undergoing tests on his neck.
“McIntyre was seen earlier today at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, a well-known hospital that has seen other WWE talents undergo surgery there, including WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali” the site revealed.
“WWE sources confirmed this afternoon to PWInsider.com that McIntyre was indeed there to undergo tests on his neck” the site concluded.
There is currently no timeframe for when the Scottish Superstar will be making his return to the company, although WWE is hoping that he will be ready for the Royal Rumble event on Saturday, January 29th.
