WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre recently discussed his move to the WWE SmackDown brand in 2021 and how it was a fresh start for his character.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, the former WWE Champion outlined what it was like moving over to the brand as part of the WWE Draft in 2021.
‘That’s what I’ve been looking for, for a long time, is just hitting that reset button and starting from scratch against and re-proving myself” McIntyre revealed.
“That’s why with the SmackDown move, it felt like the perfect time to go, ’˜we know what Drew can do and is capable of, let’s hit that reset button and re-prove myself’” McIntyre added.
“I’m happy to do it. I’ve been doing this 20 years, there are 52 weeks a year. I’m a patient man” the former WWE Champion concluded.
