Former WCW President and WWE Executive Director of SmackDown Eric Bischoff recently had some huge praise for RAW Superstar Matt Riddle.
Speaking to Inside the Ropes, Bischoff would say that Riddle has all of the quality to be a main event player for WWE down the line.
“As far as some of the younger talent or newer talent that are coming up who I think could be Main Event quality, I love Matt riddle. I, I just love him” Bischoff began.
“Not only do I like his character, because this character, isn’t that unique. I mean, he, he does that character uniquely well, but we’ve seen that type of character in other forms of entertainment” Easy E continued.

“So what’s that like something we’ve never seen before? He’s got that…what was that character from that movie? It was kind of like a, it was kind of like a burned-out skateboarder. But we’ve seen that type of character and other forms of entertainment” Eric Bischoff noted.
“Matt does it so well. That’s what makes it unique is he does it so well and it’s so believable” the former WCW President would conclude.

Matt Riddle is currently in an angle with Randy Orton, where they play the ‘odd couple’ type of roles. Riddle has been a standout performer on RAW over the past few months with his comedy, however fans are still weary to get behind the former UFC fighter due to previous allegations of misconduct whilst he was on the independent scene.
