WWE RAW Superstar Finn Balor recently revealed a wild stable idea that he pitched to WWE management that was turned down.
Speaking to Inside the Ropes, Balor revealed that the group may well have been a bit too much like Bullet Club to stand out.
“When I had discussed it before, I pitched the idea of going with the AOP. Looking back, it might have been too similar to Bullet Club” Balor began. “I feel like when you try to recreate something it’s never as good as the original.”
‘I feel like this Judgment Day is something so far removed from Bullet Club that it’s very refreshing, for me especially, not having to try to kind of recreate what I’ve done years and years ago” the Irish Superstar continued.
“I’m more creatively filled than I have been in a long time in WWE” The former WWE Universal Champion concluded.
Finn Balor Stable
It certainly would’ve been an interesting group for Finn Balor to lead, and having Authors of Pain as his heavies would’ve been an interesting dynamic.
AOP are now working on their own promotion Wrestling Entertainment Series, which itself has had some massive problems over the past few months.
