Finn Balor will be facing Xavier Woods in the finals of the King of The Ring tournament this Thursday at the WWE Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
Woods has been begging for a KOTR tournament for years, and now he is finally in the final of his very first iteration of the historic event.
With that said, Balor is in desperate need of a win here, with the company deciding that his time on SmackDown is over amidst his move to RAW in the WWE Draft.
Having King Balor appear on Monday Night RAW in a newly minted heel gimmick, because beating Woods in the KOTR would get major heel heat, would be a perfect way to adapt his character.
