Former WCW and WWE Universal Champion Goldberg recently discussed his early run in professional wrestling, and how he compares himself to Mike Tyson.
Speaking to Dr. Beau Hightower, the WWE Superstar noted how he saw himself as “pro wrestling’s Mike Tyson” when he was wrestling back in the 90s.
“I think what has made me successful and also made me hated is the thing that is the determining factor. I was the Mike Tyson of wrestling” Goldberg began.
“My goal was to be something completely different. Black tights, black shoes, I didn’t frickin’ talk for six months. I just squished motherf***ckers” Goldberg concluded.
It is not currently known if Goldberg will be wrestling with WWE again. It is believed that Elimination Chamber 2022 was the last match on his contract, so he may well re-sign or decide to retire.
