WWE Superstar and WCW legend Goldberg recently discussed his current WWE contract and what he is considering when it expires.
Goldberg reportedly has only one more match left on his WWE contract, after which he is free to go whether he wants or to retire.
Speaking to Sports Illustrated, the 55-year-old Superstar revealed that he is open to negotiating a new deal when his current one expires.
‘I’m focused on what’s next,’ Goldberg began. ‘If they (WWE) want to come back to me with something, we’ll talk. You never know what the future holds.’
Goldberg also discussed how difficult it is retaining his power and body type at his age. ‘As a power wrestler, it’s tough,’ Goldberg revealed.
‘It’s not easy to do this at my age. But I knew that, and I said the hell with it. For me, the prize is worth it, and that’s to open up opportunities for my son” Goldberg added.
“If I can continue to do what I’m doing and continue to provide opportunities for him, then I’ll consider this a success” the former WCW Champion concluded.
