WWE Royal Rumble: Japanese legend reportedly backstage

A Japanese wrestling legend is reportedly backstage at the WWE Royal Rumble 2023 event, according to one of our sources.

We’ve only been able to get this from one source and we’re working to try and get more information, but it looks like he COULD be part of the Rumble match.

Shinsuke Nakamura took on The Great Muta at a NOAH show on January 1st, and it is believed that this is essentially the other end of that deal, getting the Japanese legend on a WWE show.

This would also make sense in terms of a Hall of Fame induction, as WWE will be able to get its own footage of Keiji Muto to show during the event.

We’re hoping to get more updates on this story, and hopefully, we will be able to get a 100% confirmation before show time.
