A top former WWE Superstar and AEW name reportedly refused to work with Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 23 according to Jim Ross.

Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Big Show refused to work with the Hulkster just to put him over 20 years after Hogan slammed Andre.

‘Other than his back being problematic, he [Wight] didn’t want to job for Hogan” Jim Ross revealed on the podcast.

“I’m sure Big Show thought ’˜It’s my time for Hogan to put me over.’ And that was never in consideration quite frankly” Ross concluded.

Neither man would end up actually appearing on the show itself, but it certainly would have been a spectacle seeing Hogan hit the bodyslam again.

As noted, Big Show is now working with AEW under his real name Paul Wight. The former Big Show has appeared in the ring for All Elite, but he will not likely be staying out going forward.
