IMPACT Wrestling star returning to WWE

Last updated

An IMPACT Wrestling star is set to be making their return to WWE in the coming months, according to recent reports.

PWInsider recently confirmed that former NXT Superstar and leader of the Sanity group, Eric Young, will be heading back to the WWE shortly.

“Former Impact Wrestling Champion Eric Young, 42, is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment, has confirmed with multiple sources” the site revealed.

“Young’s final Impact Wrestling TV appearance, a vignette filmed in secret in Nashville where he was literally st*bbed to death by Deaner, aired on tonight’s episode of Impact on AXS TV.

“The idea appears to be that Deaner has ascended to become the new leader of Young’s group, Violent by Design, which will continue with Alan Angels and Big Kon as the primary members” PWInsider concluded.

It was clear that Eric Young was one of the talents that Triple H had faith in back when The Game was running the NXT developmental system.

Young has a wealth of experience and could easily move into a coaching role at some point in the future with the company, so this makes sense.

It is not confirmed where Young will be headed when he does return, although another run in NXT certainly looks likely.
