AEW star Jade Cargill is reportedly set to be leaving All Elite Wrestling in the very near future, with WWE looking like her next destination.
One of the big questions regarding the former TBS Champion is whether or not she could be heading to WWE’s NXT developmental brand.
We’ve reached out to a few different people on the situation, and it’s looking like the company is at least discussing having her go straight to either RAW or SmackDown rather than NXT.
One of our sources indicated that Cargill would be heading to the “main roster rather than NXT, apparently, WWE has big visions for her.” However, we’ve also been told that “NXT is going to be more important as an income stream going forward,” so there’s still a chance she could appear in Florida first.

Whether or not Cargill heads to NXT or the main roster first, this is still an absolutely massive get for the company. Cargill has crossover appeal and she has been on the radar of the company for a long time.
We’ll hopefully be able to get more on this in the coming weeks, but it’s set to be another exciting time in terms of a big name jumping ship.
